Delicious meal in an intimate and almost fine-dining setting. There are 2 levels and we were seated on second floor. Our server, Xiomin was attentive and professional, quickly getting us what we order and need. The food itself is tasty and different, especially for someone having Beijing style food for the first time. Price is standard for NYC and our favorite dish was Signature Seafood Bisque that is basic but hit the right spot. Recommend as a must visit restaurant!

I love it here! When I first saw this restaurant on social media, I knew I wanted to share it with others. I hosted a birthday celebration here and the staff was super friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, and the location was super convenient as it's in the (somewhat) calmer parts of Times Square. Their seafood bisque, plum tea, and adorable little bunny desserts are a favorite! The restaurant itself is also just beautiful. Great for small group and large group gatherings, but also great atmosphere for 2!

The homemade plum juice from here is a must-try! Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and we shared several dishes but I was too busy eating and forgot to take photos again until the bunny dessert at the end… haha. The meatball, fried shrimp, and spicy beef were my favorites from what I can remember of the main dishes we ordered. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. We sat upstairs and the area was beautifully decorated with many traditional Chinese elements incorporated within. It was the perfect spot for a fancy lunch with friends. Can’t wait to visit again.

Food tastes good good. Recommend the sweet and sour ribs, the sweetness and sourness are just right, flavorful! Beile Lamb is tasty too. The crispy Beijing duck doesn’t have enough amount for the price. The treasure plates includes famous treats from Beijing, if you never had any before, it’s a good sampling tray.

The only restaurant in NYC that can be called Beijing cuisine, with some popular classic Chinese dishes on the menu. Not sure if they have a Michelin star, but I can tell their decor, platting, and service try to reflect the standards. It’s not quite a Chinese place you go daily for a quick bite or to get General Tso. We went for a Saturday lunch. The reservation requires $100 no-show fee to hold the table, so we just tried our luck and went directly as walk-in, but right at noon, when they open. We were seated on the first floor. First, we tried to order cocktails but they weren’t selling them for lunch time. We would have to go back for dinner some other time. Then, for the beer menu, not all were available either. The customers in the restaurants are mainly young Chinese people. And from my observation, they rarely ordered alcoholic drinks but spent money on big portion dishes. That’s probably why. They don’t sell whole Peking Duck anymore - only duck bites. Some other authentic Beijing dish I tried to order, like Brown sugar pancake, was no longer sold either. Overall, we liked all the dishes we ordered, except for the sweet sour whole fish (had better somewhere else). And again, this is probably the only place in town I can get some hometown food. We paid $80 per person with tax and tips - not bad at all for the high-end Chinese restaurant in the city.

Picked up my parents who just arrived from Beijing to bring them here for dinner lol. Well, to satiate myself of course. Might’ve set the expectation too high though. Overall experience was pretty meh. …

The third restaurant by the same owner as CheLi and Szechuan Mountain House. Even though it's in the theatre district, the food are beautifully designed by head chef from a Michelin restaurant. Presentation matches the taste starting from seafood bisque, sweet sour ribs and aromatic beef. Three cup chicken, yellow croaker and lamb chops were all full of flavor. Mapo tofu, duck fried rice and treasure platter finished off the meal. There is also an extensive cocktail and baiju list, which the table took liberally. Service was quick and attentive and friendly thanks to the mamager Jasmine. The location similar to the other 2 decorated like faux family compound pegotas. The $25 lunch special is not bad either, come check it out.

The restaurant setting is really nice and definitely can see the owner of the restaurant have a lot of thoughts on the branding. I saw a some very enlightening drinks they created. For our visit, we ordered the restaurant week for one …
